Since I'm being spanked every time I try to save my interests-- apparently, I have too many,-- here goes:
Music: Anything from medieval to classical to classic rock to industrial, and lots in between.
Movies/TV: Favourite movie of all time: The Princess Bride, with The Quiet Man a close second. Also love anything with Orlando Bloom in it. Current favourite shows include: Supernatural, Robin Hood, Merlin, Lost, Fringe, Legend of the Seeker, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, iCarly (don't knock it til you've seen it!), Ghost Hunters, Mythbusters, Destination Truth, also eagerly awaiting the next installments of Doctor Whoand Torchwood (I will never watch Torchwood again).
Books: Urban fantasy, mysteries, paranormal romantic suspense, Regency romances. Favourite of all time: a tie between Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and Stephen R. Donaldson's Mordant's Need duology-- The Mirror of Her Dreams and A Man Rides Through. Currently enjoying Jim Butcher's Dresden Files and Patricia Briggs's werewolf series... serieses.... seriei? There are two of them, anyway.
I've had fangirl tendencies practically since I could talk, starting with my insatiable four-year-old crush on Bo Duke. Looking back now, I still think I had good taste, though the crushes have become decidedly lustier over the last twenty-odd years. Do that math, and you're right-- I'm probably too old for behaviour of this sort. But y'know what? I'm a relatively well-behaved, responsible individual in life. Here, propriety can kiss my thirty-year-old arse.
